So Heidi Elizabeth Morgan was born on April 24, 2010 at 8:05pm. She weighed 9lbs 8oz and was 21 inches. Technically speaking she was three weeks early as her due date was originally May 16, 2010. I had to have a C-section because she could not get past my pelvis after 3 hours of pushing, though she crowned and was trying hard. It never evolved to an emergency and we both came out of it just fine.
This was a picture that a nice nurse took of us on the day we got to go home. We are very happy with everything and I was very glad to finally go home.
My mother then came and stayed with us for a few days to help us out with being new parents. This is one of the nights where we were having trouble getting Heidi to sleep, so she cuddles with Grandma for a while to calm down.
Then on Thursday of the same week we had to go to MUSC for jaundice. She stayed there until Saturday morning. Heidi absolutely loved the billi lights and really got a kick out of the heat. This is when she finally started eating well - especially since I decided to pump and feed with a bottle instead of nursing - we are both happier for the decision.
